Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: World's Fastest Car

The new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is being hailed as the fastest car in the world.  This beast cranks 840 HP and 770 ft-lbs of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Demon V-8.  This engine is an upgraded version of what Dodge used to power their might Hellcats.  The engine sends the Demon rocketing from 0-60 MPH in just 2.3 seconds and from 0-100 MPH in 5.1 seconds, as well as producing enough power to pull the front wheels off the ground.

While being street-legal, the SRT Demon is definitely made for the track.  The car comes with only one seat, though extras can be installed for just $1 each.  However, options for the Demon are available to make it a comfortable, yet incredibly powerful daily driver.

You would think that such a powerful car would demand some insane figure for its price tag; however, that is not the case for the Demon.  It expected to be priced well under $100,000, and its goal is to bring more potential customers to Dodge's dealerships rather than make a profit off of the Demon itself.
