Bugatti's Next Car Will Be a Hybrid

Image
Bugatti was already close to replacing the Veyron with a hybrid model; however, they choose to go with the impressive Chiron instead.  But the time for a hybrid Bugatti has come, and it will be their next model.  Bugatti CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer has stated that Bugatti has not begun work on the successor to the Chiron yet, but he is confident that it will be a hybrid.  Environmental regulations and motor trends have put pressure on supercar manufacturers to turn towards the hybrid route.  This should not come as a shock to those who follow the car industry, as Volkswagon, Bugatti's parent company, has been making large investments into the electrification of their vehicles. There are still many questions surrounding the next Bugatti, but now we at least know that it will be some form of a hybrid vehicle and not a fully electric car.   It is still undetermined whether the next Bugatti will be a "mild-hybrid" with an electric motor attached to the gas engine's crank,

BMW i8: The Future of Supercars?

Image
BMW has innovated the supercar industry with the i8.  Introducing a hybrid supercar at a relatively low price is going to change the market.  With European nations tightening up on exhaust regulations, hybrid supercars are going to become even more popular throughout Europe.  The BMW i8 is a fan-favorite car for numerous reasons, and we are going to try and outline several of those in this article. The most stunning feature of the i8 is appearance.  The i8 is hands down one of the most beautiful cars ever built.  You will be hard pressed to find someone who does not love this sleek and modern BMW.  The i8 is also one of few cars to actually look like the concept car that it was designed from.  The beautiful leather interior is eco-friendly, as it's crafted from recycled fabrics.  The front seats are fairly spacious, but the rear seats are quite cramped.  Bringing this car together are the beautiful butterfly doors that are beloved by car fanatics across the globe. Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: World's Fastest Car

Image
The new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is being hailed as the fastest car in the world.  This beast cranks 840 HP and 770 ft-lbs of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Demon V-8.  This engine is an upgraded version of what Dodge used to power their might Hellcats.  The engine sends the Demon rocketing from 0-60 MPH in just 2.3 seconds and from 0-100 MPH in 5.1 seconds, as well as producing enough power to pull the front wheels off the ground.  While being street-legal, the SRT Demon is definitely made for the track.  The car comes with only one seat, though extras can be installed for just $1 each.  However, options for the Demon are available to make it a comfortable, yet incredibly powerful daily driver. You would think that such a powerful car would demand some insane figure for its price tag; however, that is not the case for the Demon.  It expected to be priced well under $100,000, and its goal is to bring more potential customers to Dodge's dealerships rather t

Zarooq Sandracer 500GT

Image
If you were to picture an off-road supercar rocketing through deserts at extreme speeds, it would only be natural for this car to be developed in the United Arab Emirates.  Fueled by vast amounts of cash from oil, the UAE has developed a fondness for supercars and has started to produce some pretty specials ones themselves.   UAE based company, Zarooq, decided to build a supercar that can tackle the wide and unforgiving deserts of the Middle East and still be street legal.  This is how the Sandracer 500GT was born. Fitted with a carbon fiber body and built-in roll cage, the Sandracer 500GT weighs in at 2,646 pounds.  This car is fitted with a General Motors ‘LT1’ naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8, which can produce 518HP and 487 lb ft. of torque.  It's rear-wheel drive only and can easily handle any terrain. The Sandracer 500GT's top speed of 137MPH is shockingly fast for off-road travel.  The suspension comes with two height settings, one for the road and one for sand, whi

Koenigsegg Agera RS1 Debut

Image
Koenigsegg has recently debuted the Agera RS1 to add to their already stunning lineup of cars.  On the exterior, the Arctic White finish is paired nicely with the custom blue accents.  For the interior, Koenigsegg used a stunning blue Alcantara, as well as polished carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum. This is hands down one of Koenigsegg's most beautiful cars to this day. As expected, the performance of this car rivals its beauty.  The RS1 utilizes a twin-turbocharged 5.0l V8 engine to pump out 1,360hp and 1,011 lb ft of torque.  This car features a 7-speed automatic transmission.  Weighing in at under 3,100 pounds, the RS1 can reach 62 MPH in 2.8 seconds and 186 MPH in only 12.3 seconds. Despite its lightweight design, the RS1 does not skimp on technology nor comfort.  It comes fully equipped with climate control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth integration, a digital entertainment system, and fully digital maintenance systems.  The roof is also removable with no detri

Devel Sixteen: Real or Myth?

Image
Ever since its debut at the Dubai Motor Show, car fans all around the world have speculated about the validity of the Devel Sixteen's performance stats.  The car is rumored to reach 62 MPH in 1.8 seconds and have a top speed of 348 MPH.  This seems very unlikely, but the prototype is supposed to have a 5,000 HP V16 engine. Despite any proof existing of the Devel Sixteen's speed, there has been significant progress made on the car's engine.  Steve Morris Engines is developing the monster engine for this beast.  The current test engine is able to pump out 4,515 hp and 3,519 pound-feet of torque on race fuel and 36 psi of boost.  The power in this engine is truly insane, and they are expecting to get 5,000 HP out of the 12.36-liter turbocharged V16 engine with just a little bit more of boost.  Once the desired power is attained, the next step is to create a reliable and consistent prototype for the Devel Sixteen.  While it seems that the engine expectations may be realist

2017 Bentley Bentayga- Fastest SUV in the World

Image
Bentley is claiming that their new 2017 Bentayga is the fastest SUV in the world, which is definitely believable given the performance reviews of Bentley's new SUV.  The Bentayga has a top speed of 187 MPH and can go 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.  Such impressive stats for an SUV are made possible by the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W-12 engine that Bentley uses to power the car.  This beast generates 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.  This car is an 8-speed automatic, and Bentley is planning on releasing diesel and hybrid versions in the future. As expected from Bentley, the interior is magnificent and crafted from the finest leather.  The interior can also be configured to comfortably seat four or five people.  Driving around like royalty inside the Bentayga is going to cost you though.  The base model of the luxury SUV is staring at $231,825, and the price only goes up from there. Audi Reveals New 2019 A8

Image
The 2019 Audi A8 looks completely stunning so far, and the new features put it miles ahead of the previous models.  The wider front end fits the rest of the body better and is expected to be used on Audi's other models.  The interior is very industrial and minimalist, giving it a sleek, modern look. Audi is implementing touchscreens inside to replace the traditional knobs on the control system.  This is definitely an upgrade tech-wise and appeals to the younger generations. Audi is also rolling out a new artificial intelligence system with the A8 that allows for more practical self-driving.  Using Audi's Traffic Jam Pilot, the A8 can drive itself at speeds up to 37 mph on highways, which can be helpful during traffic jams as the name suggests.  However, this feature will not be available in the US upon launch.  The Remote Parking Pilot and Remote Garage Pilot can be used to steer the car in and out of a parking spot or garage.  The driver does not even need to be in the car

Tesla Revolutionizes the Industry with the Model 3

Image
The Tesla Model 3 is selling for around $35,000, as Tesla is beginning mass production to make their cars for affordable for the masses.  With around 400,000 cars reserved, Teslas are about to become much more common on the road.  This extreme increase in numbers is going to test the limits of Tesla's infrastructure in every possible way. Tesla has just started putting out finished products of the Model 3, but they still have 400,000 reservations to fill.  They are expecting to have 20,000 orders filled by the end of the year, and then ramp up production to 40,000 cars a month in 2018.  This means that you'll still have to wait for some time if you want a new Model 3. Tesla is also going to need to expand their Supercharger program to handle the exponential increase in volume.  Service centers are also going to have to be able to handle the increased volume as well. Tesla is planning on solving these issues through a massive hiring campaign in the coming months. Let u

Novitec Slayed This Lamborghini Tuneup

Image
It's hard not to love a Lamborghini, especially the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster, which is inarguably one of Lamborghini's most impressive supercars. It boasts a 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 750 horsepower and unleashes insane speeds.  However, Novitec didn't think that the stock Aventador was enough for the most extreme car fanatics. We all know that Novitec performs some of the greatest tuneups around, which they have exhibited on countless cars.  And on the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster, they did not disappoint. The first modification was the addition of a supercharger for the Aventador’s V12, which raised its output to 970 horsepower. We can only imagine the performance stats of this work of art, but the tune of a supercharger whine mixed with the V12's sound is music to any car lover's ears. In addition to the performance upgrades, Novitec also worked on the car's appearance as well, and they somehow managed to m

Ferrari Holds Onto N/A V12 Engines

Image
Many Ferrari purists disapproved of the Ferrari 488's turbocharged engine, which has led to questions about the future of Ferrari engines.  A recent interview can give us the relief that Ferrari's V12 engines will remain naturally-aspirated for now.  Autocar has reported that Sergio Marchionne, Ferrari and FCA’s boss, has said, “[Ferrari] will always offer a V-12. Our head of engine programs told me it would be absolutely nuts to put a turbocharger on the V-12, so the answer is no.”  However, those purists need to hold onto this for as long as they can, because environmental regulations are making naturally-aspirated performance engines increasingly difficult.
